Yesterday we got a new family member. We drove for six hours to get her. And last night, I woke up at three a.m. and six a.m. so she could go outside. And even though I´m sick, I have fever and the next coming weeks I'll probably get to sleep five hours per day, I won't complain. Her name is Tessa, and she is Belgian shepherd tervueren. She hasn't been here for even a day, but she is already following me around and comes to sleep against my leg when I´m sitting on the floor. I hope we'll have a long time together, and I hope everything goes well and I can prove that even a big dog can be gentle and behave itself. Even though my grandma seems to think that a dog bigger than 10kg can't be anything else than an angry, human eating mongrel. She even said that she is happy to be gone when Tessa is big and grumpy. She's so cheerful. Would anyone by her from me? I don't think I can cope with two barking and biting bitches hanging on my leg.

Happy, wet dog kisses.

Arise, hear my lullaby,
how I wreck my broken love
upon unlived lives.
Vast river, dark water,
I drown in lament endlessly
